ABOUT ME
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at High Point University, where I teach International Relations, Research Methods, and European Politics. My research interests currently examine immigrant integration and citizenship politics in Europe from a comparative perspective. Other ongoing work examines the European migrant crisis, immigration and citizenship politics in the wake of the Euro crisis, and the political institutions affecting state strategies of integration. I received my PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016.
When I am not teaching or researching, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping and hiking, watching the Tar Heel men’s basketball team, and exploring new places in the Triad to fulfill my love of all things wrapped in a tortilla.
